The defending champions veil of invincibility was broken in the midweek when they lost for the first time in their domestic season against Atalanta. The Bianconeri were completely outplayed in the midweek and it is likely to see them coming out all guns blazing in the weekend match against Parma.

Parma has had a terrific season back in the Serie A with Crociati sitting comfortably in the 12th position with 28 points from their opening 21 matches. A win on the weekend could see Parma rising further up the table to 9th in the league.

The Serie A title race is starting to look like it might be over. Juventus extended their lead over Napoli to 11 points last weekend. Gervinho, the former Arsenal and Roma winger who spent the past two seasons playing in China, has returned to Serie A and scored six goals this season.

Juventus : Massimiliano Allegri has major defensive concerns to worry about with Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli all out injured while Mehadia Benatia left the club in the January transfer window. Juan Cuadrado is another name on the injury list for the Old Lady of Turin.

Parma : Parma has no injuries and suspension and is likely to field their strongest XI against the defending champions. Juraj Kucka is likely to be given his second start after his arrival from Trabzonspor.

Ahead of the Parma clash, Juventus look set to rest Argentien forward Paulo Dybala, with Sky Sport reporting that the Bianconeri will start with an offensive trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Douglas Costa and the returning Mario Mandzukic.
